Cesc Fabregas is keeping his cards close to his chest surrounding talk of a possible return to Arsenal.
The Barcelona midfielder has been linked with a return to north London in the last few days, after struggling to complete 90 minutes for Barcelona this term.
But the 25-year-old is refusing to comment on the speculation, insisting only he knows where his future lies.
‘I do not know what is being said and even what is written,’ said Fabregas. ‘I can only say that I alone know my own future.’
Fabregas left the Emirates in August 2011 for his boyhood club, following eight years with the Gunners.
Cesc Fabregas was powerless to affect Barcelona’s 7-0 aggregate defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League
And despite signing the likes of Spaniard Santi Cazorla, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has struggled to fill the void left by his former captain’s departure.
But with the Gunners yet to be certain of Champions League qualification for next season, any potential big name transfers are likely to be dependent on Wenger’s men securing a top four finish.
